Overview
KS-News gives servers a genuine period press. Each newspaper has its own newsroom, members and permissions; reporters write, submit and get reviewed, and the editor-in-chief assembles a numbered edition before publishing it. Readers buy their copy at the newsstand, keep it in their inventory and read it in game, paper in hand, on an interface faithful to American dailies of 1904.
Nothing is published automatically: everything goes through the newsroom. A published edition never changes, and every copy always shows its original edition, errata included. Sales, ads and print runs feed the paper’s KS-Economy business account; each sale is protected against duplicates and incidents, and uncertain cases are settled by staff from KS-Admin.
