Overview
KS-Pendaison stages the public carrying out of a sentence, from the prisoner’s transfer to the clean-up of the scaffold. No timer rushes things: the sheriff opens the ceremony, names the condemned and the executioner, escorts the prisoner, delivers the speeches, places the noose and gives the order to open the trapdoor, each action from the gallows’ ALT menu.
The rope reproduces the game’s own rigging, with a noose attached at the neck, a physics drop through the trapdoor and a body left hanging. Until the very last moment, an accomplice can try to save the condemned with a precise shot through the rope: the trajectory is checked by the shooter’s client, then recomputed by the server. On-duty KS-Blueforce officers can run the ceremony when that resource is installed.
