Overview
KS-Announce gives the server’s businesses a public voice. An authorised employee of a sheriff’s office, a doctor’s office or a gunsmith opens the editor on F4, writes the announcement, and every player in game sees it appear above the minimap, with the company logo and name, styled like the game’s native notifications.
Each company is added in a few lines of configuration, with its logo dropped into a folder. The server re-reads job and grade on every publication, sanitises the text and enforces cooldowns and a cap so the feed is never flooded. The same resource provides the staff announcement banner used by KS-Chat and KS-Admin.
